My Year 12 Multimedia Programming Assignment

We had to make something interactive in Flash, naturally the whole class made games

Pretty lame title I know but I made it up at 5am the morning before it was due

Many thanks to for his invaluable help with some game breaking actionscript issues that had me stopped in my tracks. Best coder ever.

The hardest part was the actual layout. I've seen flash games where the gun moves but that pisses me off. I wanted to have my crosshair in the centre of the screen at all times, so I had to come up with a way to do that. I did it by moving the background and enemies themselves, rather than the weapon. Getting everything moving relative to one another was tricky.

Credit to Valve for the weapon animations which I 'studied'. For you gun nuts, I'm aware that the ejection ports are on the wrong side
